Ballyholme Village Shops.
The local shops are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a very well stocked Co-op Supermarket, which is open from 7am to 10pm every day, except Christmas Day and you will find most things you might need there. There is a chemist, a local newsagent and Post Office, a butcher, a baker, an off licence, a dry cleaners and a hair dressers. There are 2 cafes, a Chinese take away, a newly opened Indian restaurant and an ATM.
Bangor.
The centre of Bangor, High Street and Main Street, is about a 15 minute walk, depending on the way you go. There are Bus Stops on the Esplanade and Groomsport Road, where you can get buses into Town.
At the top end of the town, you will find an Asda supermarket, as well as Menaries, a local department store. A little further on is the Bus Station and adjoining it, the Train Station, from where it is a very easy trip to Belfast.
At Bloomfield Shopping Centre, north of the Town, there is a very good Marks and Spencer food hall and a large Tesco Supermarket. Bloomfield is not within walking distance of Amy’s, but if you do not have a car, taxis are relatively cheap.
